On 30 and 31 August 2013, the Spencer/Hill Festival was once before a guest in Ilmenau and fans were able to experience two very atmospheric days in the festival hall. Film screenings took place in the large festival hall, some rarities were shown and the Spencer Hill Magic Band delighted the audience with two great concerts. There was also a large fan shop and a huge outdoor area. In addition to a desperate ice-cream vendor with far too little pistachio ice-cream, there was also a catering service and fans could try their hand at bull-riding and Ring-the-Bell. Other highlights were the smashing of old cars like in ‘Crime Busters’ against the fitting background of a US car show and, of course, the big fancy dress competition. We are looking forward to returning to the now redesigned festival hall after eleven years.
