Fusilli alla puttanesca

Fusilli is a type of pasta native to southern Italy, sometimes long, sometimes short. Pasta twists can also come in different shapes.

Bud Spencer was not only Neapolitan, but he also loved to eat pasta in a wide variety of shapes and variations. In the Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movies, he is naturally seen eating rather long spaghetti, as in "Flatfoot" or "Big Man." The effect in the movie is simply better than what would be achieved by stabbing fusilli with a fork.

Your ingredients

170 g fusilli
50 g good Italian olives (black)
15 g capers, preferably pickled (sotto sale) from Pantelleria
1,5 tablespoons parsley smooth
1 clove garlic
1 anchovy (anchovy fillet)
200 g tomatoes (polpa)
0,5 tbsp tomato paste
0,5 tsp. pepperoncino (rubbed)
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

First, pit and quarter the black olives. Then wash the capers well, especially if they were pickled in salt. Chop them nice and small.

Then wash the parsley, dry it and chop it also small, as well as a clove of garlic.

Heat the olive oil in a pot and add the garlic and the anchovies. Crush the anchovies with a fork.

Add the olives, capers, tomatoes, tomato paste and peperoncino to the pot and simmer the sauce for about 15 minutes.

At the same time you can cook the fusilli in salted water until al dente.

Drain the pasta and distribute it on the plates, pouring the sugo over it.

Ready is the Neapolitan paster. Enjoy it!
