For our recipe we used prosciutto crudo from Emilia Romagna. The recipe is very quick to prepare and is perfect as an appetizer or snack.
Ingredients for 4 people
- 200 g of prosciutto crudo
- -50 g cream cheese (at room temperature)
- ½ small cantaloupe melon
- 1 pinch of salt, 1 pinch of pepper
- Basil leaves for decoration
Preparation
First divide the melon in half and remove the core. Then cut it into small pieces. Put the cream cheese in a bowl, add the melon pieces, salt and pepper and mix well.
Place the prosciutto slices on a board or large plate and carefully spread the melon cream cheese over the prosciutto slices. Wrap the ham slices in a roulade and arrange them on a plate. Decorate with a little basil.
Taste. Best served on a beautiful evening with sunset and good temperatures.
